Blue Angels Overhead

The Navy Blue Angels perform at Patuxent Naval Air Station every Memorial Day. They seemed to be using my mast as a turning point on approach on their practice day.

Waterproof cameras are cool.

Windrift in Jutland Creek, VA

Just off the Potomac, Jutland Creek is a fine anchorage close to Pt. Lookout Marina. Eagles and ospreys were nesting. Note my new (tall!) dodger made by Jack Wong.

Windrift with a bone.

Autopilots are wonderful for us singlehanders. This was a fresh breeze on the way back from the Choptank River to Solomons.

I fabricated new starboard chainplates during a starboard deck recore, top view of old and new forward chainplate.

Comparing old and new forward starboard chainplates, profile.
